Document Size Guide: ISO 216 Paper Sizes (A Series & B Series)
Document Size Guide (ISO 216)
This guide explains the ISO 216 paper size standard used globally for printing and documents. ISO 216 defines three paper size series: A, B, and C. Below are the most common sizes for printing: A Series and B Series.
ISO 216 Standard
ISO 216 is the international standard used to define paper sizes. It establishes three sets of sizes known as the A, B, and C series.
A Series Paper Sizes (A0–A10)
The A series is the most widely used paper size standard worldwide. Sizes such as A4, A5, and A3 are commonly used for flyers, brochures, forms, booklets, and office documents.

B Series Paper Sizes
The B series uses the same aspect ratio as the A series, so it has the same shape. However, the dimensions are slightly different and are often used for posters, books, and larger print formats.
